Camping

Space, nature and quiet
L'Etournerie is a rural and very small quiet camping, where respect en tranquility are very important. The view is amazing from some pitches and from our viewing spot!

Our camping à la ferme has four pitches maximum. All of the pitches are suitable for tents/vans/small caravans, depending on their size.
Electricity is available for each pitch.
In order to ensure tranquility for all our guests we only accept adults.

We are a "quiet-camping" which means that quiet hours are between 22h00 and 8h00. No noises should be heard by other people.

The camping is car-free. To pack and unpack you can take your car onto the camping, it will be parked behind the coniferes when you're done. We are not visible from the road.

Chalet Lavande
If you love camping but don't want to bring your own camping equipment, or if you just prefer a bit of luxury combined with camping life, our Chalet Lavande is just for you. It has a living/dining area, a bedroom with a proper and very comfortable bed and a small kitchen. However, there is bathroom so you will also need to use the toilet block on the camping. Please look HERE for more info.

Pool/swimming
Our pool (8x4m and 1,5m deep) is great for cooling off on those warm sunny days. In accordance with French regulation the pool area is fenced, but of course you will personally remain responsible for your own safety and that of your travel companions. No inflatables allowed. The pool is open from end of May to closing date.
Only 300 meters away is the Lac du Marillet, ideal for fishing and swimming for your dog. The closest beach is 32 kms away, at La Faute sur Mer.

Toilet block
Of course our "sanitair" is  comfortable, clean and spacious, with plenty of hooks and a stool to sit on in each of the showers.
For your convenience we have two large showers, two toilets, two wash-basins, two sinks and a washing machine (fee). Here we also have two fridges that you can rent.
Since we have a septic tank you cannot empty your chemical toilet without a minor adjustment. There are several products that are "septic tank safe", please make sure you use these. We can provide more information if you ask us.

Eco-carpet
To protect the grass as much as possible in our climate, we do not allow any plastic sheets under your groundsheet. Your groundsheet is fine, just no extra layer(s) of plastic. If you want to put something to protect your groundsheet, please use eco-carpet with holes in it. It'll work well for you and for our grass.

Chickens, cats, geese and other wildlife
For the rural feel we have chickens, geese and cats on our property and some may come to visit you. If you are lucky you may even see deer, boar and many species of birds.

Dogs
On request dogs are welcome. For the safety of our chickens and cats, and for those guests who may be afraid of dogs, they will have to be on a leash when on the camping.

No visitors
Our guests value tranquility. To ensure this as much as possible, our property is only open to registered guests. This means you can be sure there will never be non-campers on our camping.
If you want to meet with friends or family, we ask you kindly to do so elsewhere. Thank you.

Library
In the
"sanitair" we have a small library with books (English and Dutch). Feel free to leave anything you no longer want, behind.

Wifi
We provide a secured wifi network. This means you can access the internet from any pitch and accommodation. French rural internet speed may not be what you are used to at home.

Other information
Information about the surrounding area, sights, hiking, cycling etc., is available for all our guests. You can always ask us for information and we will do our best to help you.
